ACFE Pre-Accredited Trainer

Position Summary

The ACFE (Adult Community Further Education) Pre-Accredited Trainer provides professional pre-accredited training within the ACFE program. The Trainer works primarily with newly arrived migrants from a refugee/asylum seeker background who have various levels of basic English language proficiency; and promotes Cultura through maintaining and supporting growth of strong organisational, community and industry relationships . 

This position will be contracted on a permanent part time basis, working 7.5 hours per week. 

 

Duties

  • Plan, prepare, deliver and evaluate training in accordance to the pre-accredited quality framework indicators;
  • Complete ACFE documentation including session plans, course plans and course evaluation documents within the allocated time frames;
  • Reflect on, critically evaluate and improve professional knowledge and practice and participate in relevant professional development opportunities;
  • Maintain high professional standards in relation to industry, government funding bodies, colleagues and students;
  • Maintain accurate and secure administrative and student records in accordance with funding and regulatory requirements and organisational policies and procedures;
  • Oversee and work with volunteers within the classroom.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience in the delivery of education/training in community services, settlement or education and training sectors in Australia or overseas;
  • Experience in designing and delivering programs which are student focused, industry responsive and encourage learner participation and engagement;
  • Highly developed organisational and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to work autonomously;
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
