Position summary
The Maintenance Worker will work under direction to provide safe, reliable and professional support in the provision of maintenance duties across Cultura’s various locations. This is a hands-on role that will include a variety of maintenance-related tasks and skills .
This position will be contracted on a casual basis.
Duties

Work autonomously and ensure that work procedures are followed in a safe and compliant manner

Ensure all equipment is used and maintained appropriately, including hand and power tools

Perform general maintenance and repairs for equipment and building facilities

Inspect and identify equipment and fixtures to be repaired
-
Repair doors and fixtures
-
Painting of walls and buildings
-
Provide plumbing work
-
Provide electrical repairs
-
Furniture assembly
-
Assist with land care duties
Qualifications and Experience
- Current driver’s license
- Willingness to work as part of a team and on evenings and weekends (if required)
- Ability to follow instructions, policies and procedures closely
- Willingness and ability to undertake physical work
- Prior maintenance experience is highly desirable
- Construction industry white card is desirable
