This is not a traditional L&D role.
You’ll lead and elevate Cultura’s learning and development function: building capability across a diverse, values-driven workforce that supports some of the most important moments in people’s lives.
At an exciting time for the organisation, under a new CEO with a strong passion for leadership growth, development and employee pathways, you’ll play a critical role in unlocking the potential of our people and shaping the future of our workforce.
You’ll operate as a trusted partner to leaders, connecting development, performance and workforce planning to real organisational outcomes while fostering a culture of continuous learning, inclusion and growth.
This position will be contracted on a permanent Part time basis, 30.4 hours per week.

What you’ll do
Build capability that matters

Lead Cultura’s learning and development strategy aligned to organisational priorities
-
Deliver Cultura's leadership framework
- Design and deliver scalable learning solutions across a diverse, multi-service workforce
- Oversee induction, mandatory training and ongoing professional development
- Ensure clinical and compliance training meets regulatory requirements
Leverage digital learning and systems
- Drive the effective use and continuous improvement of Cultura’s Learning Management System (Go1)
- Enhance digital learning experiences, accessibility and engagement across the workforce
- Use data, insights and system capability to identify gaps, track progress and measure impact
- Bring a digitally savvy approach to modern, scalable learning design
Partner with leaders to drive performance

Conduct organisation-wide training needs analysis
- Work closely with leaders to identify capability gaps and implement practical solutions
- Design leadership development programs and succession planning frameworks
- Support a strong culture of learning, reflection and growth
Lead and elevate the L&D function
- Lead and develop a small, high-performing team
- Oversee compliance and integrity of training records
- Build frameworks, systems and processes that enable scale and consistency
- Provide data-driven insights and reporting to Executive and Board
What you bring
- Proven experience leading learning and development in a complex organisation
- Strong digital capability, including experience leveraging learning management systems to drive engagement and outcomes
- The ability to translate business needs into practical, high-impact capability solutions
- Confidence partnering with leaders and influencing at all levels

A hands-on approach - comfortable balancing strategy and delivery
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to inform decisions
You’ll also have:
- Tertiary qualifications in L&D, HR or a related field
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment

Experience with learning platforms
- A commitment to inclusion, cultural awareness and community impact
